Thursday, October 23rd, 2014Releasing the new video for Marine Peilstand Drei (MP3), I’m reminded that just over a year ago I received correspondence from a contributor to the Nugget, online magazine of Wargame Developments, asking if he could reproduce the lyrics to Marine Peilstand Drei (MP3) as part of an article.
I was deeply honoured to receive this unexpected request, but more than a little intrigued. However, the connection soon became clear. (more…)
What’s new in the moogosphere?

The recording was made on analogue tape, giving the percussion a pleasing crunch and also used a spring reverb liberated from an old guitar amp to give that (economy) vintage feel.

Where next for the moogosphere?
Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013First of all, apologies for the lack of updates recently. That’s been partly due to a late summer break in Napoli (‘O fair, false city, thou gay and gilded harlot!’) but mainly due to being buried away, recording my forthcoming Extended EP (the E2P).
The good news is that most of the work is done, with just vocals and the odd guitar and keyboard line left to do before mixing can commence. (more…)
