Moogieman songs have made into Nightshift Magazine‘s top 25 tracks of the year for the last 3 years. This year, Ghost Driver, the new single featuring all of the Masochists has climbed higher than ever before to 13th place.
Released on Halloween, is this placement the result of malign forces at work in East Oxford, or even the result of satanic rituals and a summoning at the Moogieman commune, or just coincidence?
Look forward to more esoteric pronouncements from the band in 2020.

Oxford music magazine, Nightshift was kind enough to feature the band on the cover of their December issue. There’s also a double-page spread inside, containing an interview with Moogieman and the Masochists talking about the new Doppelganger EP, band politics, and oddball influences.
The cover photo is by Jason Warner of glasshertzzphoto and we think he did a cracking job.
All Will Be Well Records has announced the release of a new Mooogieman EP on 21 November. Doppelganger consists of four tracks recorded together at Moogie Studios with the valuable production assistance of All Will Be Well’s Stefano Maio.
The release is driven by more instrospective, abstract themes than last year’s Girls And Film album, from the title track that was penned in response to Shan Sriharan’s (aka Moogieman) concerns about reports (more…)
Finish up your roast peacock and put your feet up by the bonfire of wrapping paper. Now it’s time to enjoy the twelve days of Christmas. From today, Moogieman will be adding a new track for each of the days of Christmas on bandcamp. First up: Red Xmas.
Moogieman’s Red Xmas EP was released today on bandcamp and as CD, available in the Truck Store, Oxford. A launch gig will take place early this evening in the Truck Store.
The CD comes in a handmade red felt sleeve and is part of a Christmas project that will see a track made available online on each of the 12 days of Christmas, starting 25 December.
