First of all, apologies for the lack of updates recently. That’s been partly due to a late summer break in Napoli (‘O fair, false city, thou gay and gilded harlot!’) but mainly due to being buried away, recording my forthcoming Extended EP (the E²P).

The good news is that most of the work is done, with just vocals and the odd guitar and keyboard line left to do before mixing can commence. The bad news for those who’ve been anticipating the release of the E²P for some time now is that for various reasons, including the inconvenient timing of Christmas, this won’t happen till early next year.

In the meantime, however, avid fans will be able to obtain the Moogieman seasonal single My Origami Christmas Tree. The B-side (if it actually had two sides) will be the spoken word number The Magi And The Interpretation Of Dreams. The CD will include a paper wrapper that incorporates a cut-out-and-construct origami Christmas tree (but a sleeve will still remain after doing that) and will be out in November.

And if that isn’t enough (which it won’t be if you’re a super-fan) then once the E²P is out of the way I’ll be able to concentrate on the video for Diana and a seven-inch single for 2014. The single will contain previously unreleased material but that’s all I’m going to say for now.
