Finish up your roast peacock and put your feet up by the bonfire of wrapping paper. Now it’s time to enjoy the twelve days of Christmas. From today, Moogieman will be adding a new track for each of the days of Christmas on bandcamp. First up: Red Xmas.

Moogieman’s Red Xmas EP was released today on bandcamp and as CD, available in the Truck Store, Oxford. A launch gig will take place early this evening in the Truck Store.

The CD comes in a handmade red felt sleeve and is part of a Christmas project that will see a track made available online on each of the 12 days of Christmas, starting 25 December.

A Christmas story written for the concert at the Isis Tavern on 17 December.

There are three wise-guys: Ego, Id and Superego. It’s the 25th of December, except they don’t call it that but something else expressed in a weird Babylonian base-60 number system. Id is peering through his OWL or overwhelmingly large telescope trying to observe Princess Salome taking a shower in Herod’s palace 800 miles away when he spots a strange star on the horizon.
